QBT wins contract for Australian Government travel

QBT Limited, a Helloworld subsidiary, has been appointed as the sole provider of travel management services to each of the 142 Australian Government agencies for a minimum of four years.

Services provided by QBT, effective immediately, include travel management, an online portal and booking tool, reporting and offline booking services, the company stated.

Australian Government agencies will commence a transition from their existing arrangements to QBT over a six-month period to July 1 2015.

QBT currently already provides travel management services to 58 Australian Government agencies, which comprises of around 65% of the total travel management related TTV generated by the Government.

“The Whole of Government tender has been a rigorous and professional process which has allowed QBT to demonstrate our travel expertise and the advancements we have made in both our customer service and technology,” QBT group general manager, Russell Carstensen said upon today’s announcement.
